What is IDITSC?
Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Defence is hosting its inaugural International Defence Industry, Technology and Security Conference (IDITSC).
IDITSC is a forward-looking, knowledge-based conference that addresses the latest in defence technology and defence technology security (DTS). It convenes leaders from the international defence industry, policymakers, leading technology researchers and academics, as well as international DTS experts.
Where does IDITSC take place?
At the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), UAE.
When does IDITSC take place?
It will be held on March 2 and 3, 2022, 09:00 -16:00 (UAE Time Zone – GMT+4)
Is there a registration fee to attend IDITSC?
There is no registration fee.
Can I access the conference without my registered badge?
You can only access with your registered badge
Will there be free Wi-Fi at the conference venue?
Yes, the venue has free Wi-Fi during the conference dates.
Will there be live streaming of the conference sessions?
No, the conference content is only accessible in person for the moment.
Do I need to have the Al Hosn App downloaded?
Yes, all participants (domestic and international) must have the Al Hosn App downloaded with a valid PCR test as per the entry requirement.
Are there any PCR testing centers near the venue?
Yes, there are testing centers on-site and near the venue.
Are masks mandatory?
Yes, face masks are mandatory at IDITSC 2022.
Will there be parking available?
Yes, the venue offers parking facilities around the premises.
Will food and drinks be provided during the conference?
Yes, IDITSC will provide lunch and coffee breaks throughout the conference for both days.
Can I move around between different halls?
Yes, however we do advise participants to stick with their preferred track/hall.
Am I allowed to take pictures in the conference?
Yes, you are allowed to take and post pictures.
